According to the Post-Gazette, Pittsburgh Steelers OT Wayne Gandy (shoulder) was able to return to practice on Sunday. TE Corey Geason (knee) and rookie WR Joey Getherall (hamstring) did not practice. Getherall is expected to be out seven to 10 days. Geason injured his ACL last season so the team will be careful with him this season.

The Post-Gazette reports Pittsburgh Steelers QBs Tee Martin and rookie free agent John Turman did all of the throwing in mini-camp today. Backup QB Kent Graham (shoulder) is still not throwing and Kordell Stewart had an excused absence to be an instructor at a youth football camp in Florida conducted by teammate Wayne Gandy. 5 foot 7, 173 pound undrafted free agent KR/PR Joey Getherall of Notre Dame continued to make his bid to make the Steelers roster. He can also play WR. "I'm going out there as a receiver to catch the ball and show them what I can do," Getherall said. Another undrafted player being noticed is WR Tim Baker. RB Amos Zereoue hopes the pending departure of RB Richard Huntley clears some playing time for him.
