The San Francisco 49ers are expected to place PK Joe Nedney (knee) on the Injured Reserve list Monday, Dec. 6, according to The Associated Press. PK Jeff Reed made three field goals in place of Nedney in Week 13.

San Francisco 49ers PK Joe Nedney (knee) appears to have suffered a significant setback with his strained right knee injury, reports Eric Branch, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat. Personnel director Trent Baalke said Friday, Dec. 3, that Nedney will have a medical exam Monday, Dec. 6, and said it "doesn't look good" in discussing Nedney's chances of returning this season. PK Jeff Reed (Steelers) was signed earlier this week to fill in for Week 13 against the Green Bay Packers.
