Cincinnati Bengals LB James Harrison is exceeding expectations as he transitions from an outside linebacker in a 3-4 defense to Cincinnati's 4-3 defense. "He's exceeded my expectations, to be honest with you. Typically, that transition is a little more difficult. Shoot, we're finding a lot of things for him to do. The coverage part was what I was a little worried about. But he's doing things really well. We'll find a lot of ways to use him in all kinds of different packages," defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer said.

On the heels of a 106-tackle season in 2012, Pittsburgh Steelers LB Lawrence Timmons wants to improve in 2013 and knows he will have to thanks to injuries and the absence of LB James Harrison, now with the Cincinnati Bengals. "I felt like I had a helluva year, but other guys had good years and deserved it," Timmons said. "We can get back to the playoffs if we continue to play well defensively, and that's what really matters."

Pittsburgh Steelers LB Larry Foote thinks OLB Jason Worilds, not rookie Jarvis Jones, will start in place of James Harrison, who left via free agency. "It's going to be difficult [for Jones to start immediately]," Foote said. "There is so much technique, [knowing] where to line up, inside or outside." Foote said, however, that at least Jones played in a 3-4 as a Georgia Bulldog.
Fantasy Tip: Jones could make fantasy noise in the second half of sack-friendly IDP formats, though, so don't write him off as a late-rounds gamble.
