The Philadelphia Eagles have announced the signing of WR Sean Scott. Terms of the deal were undisclosed. He was a member of the Eagles training camp this past summer. Scott will be heading to NFL Europe in the spring.

The Daily Times reports former Philadelphia Eagles WR Sean Scott is exploring workout possibilities with other NFL teams, including the Miami Dolphins. Scott might still get a shot to impress the Dolphins even though the team signed WR Cris Carter to a one-year contract.

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Any Reid WR Sean Scott (ankle) suffered a sprained left ankle on Tuesday. It's being viewed as a high ankle sprain so they'll continue to monitor his status as the week goes along.

The Associated Press reports the Philadelphia Eagles beat the New York Jets 13-12 last night. Eagles rookie QB A.J. Feeley threw a 16-yard TD pass to Sean Scott with 23 seconds left to give the Eagles the win. Feeley was 8-of-16 for 104 yards, one TD and one interception. Ron Powlus, competing with Feely for the third-string job, finished 2-of-7 for 21 yards. Eagles QB Donovan McNabb was 4-of-6 for 26 yards. RB Duce Staley had two carries for 35 yards and caught one pass for 6 yards. As previously reported, Eagles C Bubba Miller fractured his right ankle and he will have surgery on Friday. He is expected to miss about two months.
