The Carolina Panthers have reached a contract agreement with free agent WR Scott McCready, reports Panthers.com. Terms of the deal were not released. McCready recently played for the Scottish Claymores of NFL Europe where he led the league with 59 receptions.

According to a Packers press release, former New England Patriots WR Scott McCready earned NFL Europe National Player of the Week honors after hauling in a record 11 receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown in Scotland's 20-14 loss to Berlin in Week 1. Eleven receptions is a new league record for national players.
