USATODAY.com reports the St. Louis Cardinals optioned P Kevin Ohme to AAA Memphis of the Pacific Coast League, on Tuesday, May 13th.

The AP’s R.B. Fallstrom reports RP Kevin Ohme was recalled on Friday from Triple-A Memphis by the St. Louis Cardinals. Ohme will bolster a bullpen that is missing RP Russ Springer (elbow) to the disabled list and RP Jeff Fassero, who is serving a two-game suspension on Friday and Saturday for throwing at a hitter.

The AP reports RP Kevin Ohme was optioned by the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday to Triple-A Memphis. He had pitched well in two major league appearances, but was sent down to make room for OF J.D. Drew to be activated from the disabled list.
