Former NFL players Jamal Lewis, Dorsey Levens, Fulton Kuykendall and Ryan Stewart say in a federal lawsuit that brain injuries have left them struggling with medical problems years after their playing days ended. The players filed the lawsuit against the National Football League and FNL Properties LLC this week in U.S. District Court in Atlanta. The players maintain the NFL knew as early as the 1920s of the potential for concussions to harm its players. They argue the league concealed the dangers from coaches, trainers, players and the public until June 2010, when it publicly acknowledged the health threats and warned players and teams.

By proving to Giants head coach Jim Fassel he also can function on offense, Joyce made the coach's decision easier. "I just needed to look at who the next-most productive guy is and at that point in time, it doesn't matter where they were drafted, how long they've been with us, or what money they make," Fassel said. "It's the best guy who's going to play. You can't argue with his production. He's looked extremely good on the run, pass, pass protection, and return ability."

But there will be some guys coming out, and one of them will be Tiki. I don't plan on playing him that full time, because I want to get a look at other running backs, and Tiki's in pretty good shape."
