Chris Brown, of Bills Digest, reports the Buffalo Bills' tight ends will likely have a more prominent role in the team's offense this year. "I think we probably will have a bigger role," TE Ryan Neufeld said. "I think we'll do a lot of two tight end sets, and provide good flexibility because the second tight end could be spread out or in the slot running routes, or taking on the responsibility of the fullback position." In 2003, Buffalo tight ends combined to represent just 15 percent of the offense's receptions and 15 percent of the team's total receiving yards.

The Buffalo Bills have been using TE Ryan Neufeld at the fullback position. Neufeld is a good blocker, but his receiving skills are something defenses have to be mindful of when he comes out of the backfield.
