According to multiple sources, free-agent RP Mark Prior (Red Sox) is working out at his San Diego home with the intent of heading to spring training with an MLB team and making one more comeback attempt. His agent, John Boggs, has contacted several teams but Prior has not received any contract offers or invitations to spring training camps. Prior has focused on strengthening the area around his shoulder capsule in an effort to prevent the injury problems that have bothered him throughout his career and he is throwing between 92 and 93 mph, according to Boggs.
