Fantasy Tip: Will Venable, Jeff Francoeur and Chris Denorfia could receive more playing time with Maybin suspended, but there have been reports that Denorfia could be moved by the trade deadline. Owners in deep leagues could consider adding Venable to their team, while Francoeur and Denforia should only be considered in NL-only leagues for now.

San Diego Padres OF Jeff Francoeur is being promoted to the majors from Triple-A El Paso. OF Rymer Liriano was promoted from Double-A San Antonio to El Paso. OF Alex Dickerson was moved up to San Antonio from Single-A Eugene.

Fantasy Tip: Liriano may arrive in the bigs by September because of his growing prospect status and performance on the farm.

Fantasy Tip: Francoeur has a limited amount of fantasy value if he goes to Toronto. Not only does he carry a low batting average, he would strictly be a backup OF with the Blue Jays unless something happens to Jose Bautista, Colby Rasmus or Melky Cabrera.

Ramirez and Michael Zagurski. The catchers include Luke Carlin, Jake Lowery, Roberto Perez, Matt Treanor and Tony Wolters. The infielders are Elliot Johnson, Jason Giambi, Francisco Lindor, Ryan Rohlinger and Joey Wendle, while the outfielders are comprised of Matt Carson, Jeff Francoeur, Nyjer Morgan and Tyler Naquin.
