Detroit Tigers 1B Miguel Cabrera (ankle) isn't expected to be 100 percent healthy until the 2014 season ends, according to manager Brad Ausmus. "I would be shocked if it was" something he could put behind him, Ausmus said. Ausmus said that he's considering resting Cabrera for four or five straight days.

Updating a previous report, Detroit Tigers 1B Miguel Cabrera (ankle) was not in the starting lineup against the Minnesota Twins Sunday, Aug. 24, because his right ankle flared up Saturday, Aug. 23. With an off day Monday, Aug. 25, manager Brad Ausmus is opting to give Cabrera two days of rest.

Fantasy Tip: Cabrera should return to all starting lineups immediately. Usually it would be wise to give Hunter and Suarez a game to prove their health. However, R.A. Dickey is a favorable matchup.
