The Associated Press reports former New York Giants WR Mark Ingram was arrested Friday, Jan. 2, in Michigan, nearly a month after he disappeared on the day he was scheduled to begin serving a prison sentence for bank fraud and money laundering. U.S. marshals tracked Ingram to a hotel room in Flint, Mich., after a manhunt that began when he failed to turn up at a federal prison in Kentucky Dec. 5.

The Associated Press reports former New York Giants WR Mark Ingram has been accused of breaking into a garage and stealing a purse from a car. Gennessee County (Mich.) Prosecutor David Leyton said his office has issued an arrest warrant charging Ingram with a felony count of breaking and entering of a building and a misdemeanor larceny charge. Ingram turned himself in and was released on a $10,000 personal-recognizance bond. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Friday, Aug. 24, and a preliminary examination was set for Aug. 29.

Newsday reports ex-NFL WR Mark Ingram admitted in federal District Court in Central Islip Wednesday, Nov. 30, that he laundered $100,000 in 2000 for a drug dealer he met at the Marriott Hotel in Uniondale, according to federal law enforcement officials. Ingram also admitted, without elaborating, that in an unrelated 2000 Florida case he had deposited a stolen $130,000 check into his bank account and withdrew $54,000 of it. Ingram faces at least 70 months in prison when he is sentenced on the federal money laundering and bank fraud charges.
