The Associated Press reports a plea deal offered Tuesday could keep former NFL WR Brian Blades out of jail. He was charged last month with resisting arrest with violence and interfering with a police officer and disorderly intoxication. If found guilty, he could be sentenced to 11 years in jail.

Associated Press reports former Seattle Seahawks WR Brian Blades was arrested on Monday after fighting with a police officer. Blades was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He was released from the Miami-Dade County Jail on a $10,500 bond and arraignment has been set for Aug. 5.
