The Associated Press reports former NFL WR Andre Rison was arrested and cited for public intoxication after an early-morning disturbance at a San Antonio hotel Monday, Dec. 29. Police were called to the hotel after Rison and a friend caused a scene at the Crown Plaza Riverwalk, the San Antonio Express-News reported. Rison paid an $85 fine for the misdemeanor offense and was released, police said.

Steve Hummer, of the Atlanta Journal-Consitution, reports former NFL WR Andre Rison continues to face legal problems in DeKalb County as he owes more than $120,000 for two-plus years of child support, interest and attorneys' fees. He also owes 20 days in jail for criminal contempt. DeKalb Superior Judge Cynthia Becker set aside an arrest warrant scheduled for Aug. 9 to enable Rison to finish the season with the CFL, but has re-scheduled a hearing for Dec. 8, in which an arrest warrant will likely be reinstated.

The Associated Press reports a judge has dropped a felony charge against former NFL WR Andre Rison, who was accused failing to pay more than $90,000 in child support. A district judge ruled Tuesday, July 20, that Rison had paid enough support to meet the court-ordered obligation, despite missing one or two monthly payments. Rison's attorney, David Kallman, argued that his client had paid nearly $6,600 in support since November 2003 and actually was ahead on his current obligation.

The Associated Press reports an arrest warrant has been issued for former NFL WR Andre Rison, who owes $184,787 in two states for overdue child support payments, attorney's fees and interest. This is the fourth time an arrest warrant has been issued for Rison by DeKalb County (Ga.) Superior Court Judge Cynthia Becker for failing to pay child support.

The Associated Press reports an arrest warrant has been issued for former NFL WR Andre Rison for failing to pay nearly $95,000 in child support, according to Michigan attorney general Mike Cox. Cox also has asked the FBI to issue a fugitive flight warrant because he suspects Rison is living in Georgia but isn't certain, Cox spokesman Stu Sandler said. Sandler added that Rison, who has paid child support every year but hasn't paid enough, owes the child support to a 17-year-old son who lives in Southfield.
