Green Bay Packers safeties coach Darren Perry could still remain with the club in 2018 despite not being named as part of the staff Wednesday, Jan. 24. Head coach Mike McCarthy said Perry was involved in the team's staff meeting earlier in the day, and he hopes to have Perry's status clarified by the end of the week. Perry is reportedly a candidate to be the defensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans.

Pittsburgh Steelers SS Troy Polamalu's 19-yard interception return for a touchdown in the third quarter against the Miami Dolphins was the fifth defensive touchdown of his career, one shy of the franchise record held by Rod Woodson. Three others also scored five defensive touchdowns -- Carnell Lake, Dwayne Woodruff and Jack Butler. The interception was the 32nd of Polamalu's career, tying him with Jack Ham and Darren Perry for seventh most in team history.

"We just have got to keep him going and making sure as a unit that we're playing together and we're not giving up the big play, because that's where you want to make sure that you're not slipping, because that just demoralizes a defense."
