The Democrat and Chronicle reports former New England Patriots QB Scott Zolak told reporters that he talked to the person who X-rayed Buffalo Bills QB Rob Johnson's shoulder at Foxboro Stadium and he said Johnson's clavicle was broken in four places.

The Boston Globe reports if New England Patriots QB Drew Bledsoe is out for a lengthy period of time, as expected, coach Bill Belichick said, a third quarterback will be sought. The coach said that if Bledsoe is out less than two or three weeks, he probably won't fill the job. An obvious candidate would be Michael Bishop, who knows the Patriots' system enough to step in and fill a role. Former Patriots QB Scott Zolak also could be a candidate. ''If it's 6-8-10 weeks, then yes, we'll do something,'' said Belichick. ''If it's a week to 10 days, that's a whole different situation.''

Jets | Zolak Happy To Be Back With Parcells

The Newark Star-Ledger reports that QB Scott Zolak is very happy now that he is reunited with his favorite coach, Bill Parcells. "It's great to be back with Bill," said Zolak. "He's the only coach that really motivated me over my eight years. He puts a little fire in you. He knows what he's doing. He surrounds himself with good people. You see what (quarterback coach) Dan Henning did with Vinny." He will be competing for the #2 QB job in the upcoming Jets training camp.

Jets | Parcells Eyeing Another Patriot?

The Newark Star-Ledger reports the Jets have contacted the agent for Patriots Free Agent QB Scott Zolak. They see him as a candidate if they can't get things worked out with current backup Glenn Foley. Foley is due a $400,000 roster bonus in mid-March so look for a decision by then. If Foley agrees to rework his deal he may remain a Jet.
