ESPN.com reports Green Bay Packers WR Donald Driver tied former WR Sterling Sharpe for the most receptions in franchise history (595) after recording four receptions in Week 4.

NBC Sports announced they have added former Green Bay Packers WR Sterling Sharpe to the broadcast lineup for their "Football Night in America" studio show, which will debut in the fall. He will serve as an analyst on the program which will be broadcast on Sunday evenings. Sharpe will also continue to serve as an analyst on the NFL Network.

Bob Wolfley, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports unverified reports have said Andrea Kremer of ESPN and Sterling Sharpe, the former Green Bay Packers wide receiver who is with the NFL Network, might be hired to serve as sideline reporters on NBC's Sunday games. NBC's Dick Ebersol was asked about those two, but he declined to confirm or deny they might be hired.

The Associated Press reports former Detroit Lions head coach Steve Mariucci will provide analysis for the NFL Network's first-ever Super Bowl pregame show. The show runs from noon to 5:30 p.m. ET Sunday, Feb. 5. Mariucci will be joined by Baltimore Ravens LB Ray Lewis and the network's Terrell Davis, Rod Woodson, Rich Eisen and Sterling Sharpe.

With five receptions Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison will record the most receptions through the first seven years of a career in NFL history. Harrison is four catches behind former Green Bay WR Sterling Sharpe, who accumulated 595 receptions in his first seven years from 1988-94. Harrison, who entered the NFL in 1996, averaged 87 receptions in his first six seasons and already has 69 catches through eight games in 2002.

The Green Bay News Chronicle reports with three catches Sunday, Green Bay Packers WR Antonio Freeman became the second Packer to record six consecutive 50-catch seasons. Sterling Sharpe had seven (1988-94).
