The Journal Sentinel reports Green Bay Packers GM Ron Wolf said today the team will not re-sign TE Ryan Wetnight. He will become an unrestricted free agent on Friday. TE Tyrone Davis, who played ahead of Wetnight and behind Bubba Franks, is about to become an unrestricted free agent. If he receives a good offer from another team, he probably won't be back.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports Green Bay Packers CB Tyrone Williams (neck spasms) practiced on Friday and is expected to start this weekend. CB Tod McBride (knee) also returned to practice and should be able to play this weekend. TE Ryan Wetnight had headaches return and is out. OT Earl Dotson (back) didn't practice on Friday and remains out.

The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports Packers RT Earl Dotson (back) did some football drills in pads for the first time since surgery, though he worked only with the Packers strength coaches. Dotson is listed as out for Sunday's game against the Vikings and likely won't be able to play in the regular-season finale against Tampa Bay. The Packers listed RB Dorsey Levens (knee), WR Corey Bradford (knee), LB Brian Williams (knee) and Dotson out of Sunday's game. TE Ryan Wetnight (concussion) is listed as questionable, while FB Matt Snider (hip) and CB Tyrone Williams (neck) are listed as probable.

If he cannot play, Tod McBride would likely replace him as he did during Sunday's game. TE Ryan Wetnight (concussion) underwent a CT scan on Sunday night and the results were favorable. OT Earl Dotson (back) expects to return to practice on Wednesday but that doesn't mean he'll see the football field any time soon.
