The Miami Herald reports the Miami Dolphins are looking to add vetern help at WR. Although team officials can't comment, sources said the team plans to visit with several veteran free agents early in the free agent period including Dedric Ward of the Jets, Matthew Hatchette of Minnesota, James McKnight of Dallas and David Patten of Cleveland. Director of player personnel Rick Spielman did say it was a priority need for the team, "so we'll be bringing guys in over the first couple of weeks of free agency." Coach Dave Wannstedt said the team would "look into" signing former Dallas CB Kevin Smith. Smith retired briefly last season and did not play at all because of back problems. He told his agent he wants to play again. The coach said the team is not interested in RB Curtis Enis.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports Deion Sanders will continue to see a limited role as a wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys during today's game. In other news, CB Kevin Smith (hamstring) and WR Ernie Mills (quad) remain game time decisions for the Cowboys but it appears neither will be able to play. OL Larry Allen is expected to return today. Jason Tucker is expected to start opposite of WR Raghib Ismail again today.

The Dallas Morning News reports the Dallas Cowboys won't know until tomorrow on the status of WR Ernie Mills (quad) and CB Kevin Smith (hamstring) until game day. According to head coach Chan Gailey, Smith had a setback after being able to practice earlier this week.

In other news, WR Ernie Mills (quad) remains questionable for this week's game as do CB Kevin Smith (hamstring) and OL Larry Allen (knee). C Mark Stepnoski (calf) is listed as probable and CB Kevin Mathis (knee) has already been ruled out.

The Dallas Morning News reports the Cowboys are awaiting the results of an MRI done on CB Kevin Smith (back) yesterday. He missed yesterday's practice and has had continued problems with back pains during the off-season. The team is not currently concerned at this stage.
