Texas Rangers RP Jimmy Gobble was released from his minor league contract Monday, March 30, according to The Dallas Morning News. Gobble, who allowed one run in 2 1/3 innings, was deemed not a fit by manager Ron Washington; the team does have two lefties already in RP C.J. Wilson and RP Eddie Guardado.
