Justice B. Hill, of Indians.MLB.com, writes that Cleveland Indians GM Mark Shapiro believes that Indians P Carl Sadler (shoulder), currently pitching at Double-A Akron, is regaining his form from a strained rotator cuff.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports RP Carl Sadler (shoulder) was not recovered from a strained rotator cuff suffered in winter ball and was sent home to continue his rehabilitation. Sadler will report in March with the minor-leaguers.

Paul Hoynes of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports Cleveland Indians pitcher Billy Traber will see more work in later innings of ballgames. Traber pitched the eighth inning in Friday's 3-2 victory over Oakland. Traber's move means RP Carl Sadler will be pitching earlier in the game. Last night, both men worked in the seventh inning.

The AP reports SP Brian Anderson and RP Carl Sadler of the Cleveland Indians chased down a would-be thief and recovered a stolen purse near their team’s hotel on Saturday. ''My adrenaline was pumping,'' Sadler said. ''I couldn't believe how fast we were running. We were running in between cars and oncoming traffic.'' They held the thief for 20 minutes before police arrived.
