Inge received an injection Saturday, Aug. 15, with the idea that he would receive a few games off and be ready to play Tuesday, Aug. 18. He went 0-for-3 with a strikeout and an error Tuesday. Manager Jim Leyland said 1B Aubrey Huff will be able to spell Inge at third base occasionally.
