The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports Deion Sanders will continue to see a limited role as a wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys during today's game. In other news, CB Kevin Smith (hamstring) and WR Ernie Mills (quad) remain game time decisions for the Cowboys but it appears neither will be able to play. OL Larry Allen is expected to return today. Jason Tucker is expected to start opposite of WR Raghib Ismail again today.

The Dallas Morning News reports the Dallas Cowboys won't know until tomorrow on the status of WR Ernie Mills (quad) and CB Kevin Smith (hamstring) until game day. According to head coach Chan Gailey, Smith had a setback after being able to practice earlier this week.

The Star-Telegram reports the Dallas Cowboys fate is in their own hands. If they're able to win their final two games of the season, they'll make the playoffs. In other news, WR Ernie Mills (quad) remains questionable for this week's game as do CB Kevin Smith (hamstring) and OL Larry Allen (knee). C Mark Stepnoski (calf) is listed as probable and CB Kevin Mathis (knee) has already been ruled out.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that Dallas Cowboys WR Ernie Mills says that he is close to 100 percent and that he will be in prime shape when training camp opens. Mills, who underwent surgery to repair a lacerated small intestine last year, has participated in all offensive drills during the team's three-day minicamp.

Clarence Hill, reports in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that the breakdown on the contract signed earlier today by WR Ernie Mills is a $375,000 signing bonus, a $400,000 base salary in 1999, a $300,000 roster bonus in June of 2000, a $400,000 base in 2000 and an $800,000 base in 2001. The last year is voidable. We reported earlier that WR Billy Davis would more than likely be released after June 1st, but Hill in his article states that Davis is even reportedly banned from even working out at the Cowboys facilities.

ESPN reports the Dallas Cowboys and WR Ernie Mills have come to terms on a new deal. The deal is worth $2.675 million over three-years.

The Dallas Morning News reports that the Dallas Cowboys are very close to re-signing WR Ernie Mills to a three-year contract worth $1.5 million. He's coming off a year in which he led the team in TD receptions, although he was injured at the end of the season. He would be the team's #3 WR behind Michael Irvin and Rocket Ismail.
