Denver Broncos head coach Mike Shanahan said the team does not know when DT Russell Newman (shoulder) will be able to return to practice. "I don't know how long he is going to be out," Shanahan said. "He had a little bit of a separated shoulder, very similar to what Al Wilson had. He was out for about a week and put in a harness. So, it is really hard to tell sometimes, because it may take him two weeks, or even three weeks."

Adam Schefter, of the Denver Post, reports Denver Broncos DT Russell Newman (shoulder) has a sprained left shoulder. Newman will undergo an MRI on Monday, July 28.

Denver Broncos DT Russell Newman was arrested Friday, July 18, for disorderly conduct after having a fight with another customer at a restaurant, according to the Associated Press. Newman was later released on personal recognizance bond.
