The Washington Post's Barry Svrluga reports the Washington Nationals optioned P Mike O'Connor to Triple-A Syracuse and optioned P Ross Detwiler to Double-A Harrisburg. P Justin Jones, P Bobby Brownlie, P Preston Larrison, P J.D. Martin, C Javier X. Herrera, IF Chris Marrero, IF Matt Whitney and OF Destin Hood were reassigned to minor league camp.
