Carlton Thompson, of the Houston Chronicle, reports Houston Texans WR/KR J.J. Moses (hamstring) missed practice Friday, Nov. 14, and it is uncertain whether he will be ready to play for Sunday's game, Nov. 16, against the Buffalo Bills. If Moses can't play, WR Jabar Gaffney will handle punt returns while RB Tony Hollings or RB Darrick Vaughn will handle kick returns. CB Aaron Glenn may be used to return kicks as well.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports Atlanta Falcons CB/KR Darrick Vaughn is wearing a brace on his left hand and wrist. There is some chance he has ligament damage. He will visit a specialist Sunday. He has been troubled by the injury for weeks.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports Atlanta Falcons kick returner Darrick Vaughn said he had been slowed by the ankle he injured in training camp. Vaughn said there have been holes for him to run through in previous games, but his ankle was taped so heavily it was hard for him to run fast and cut sharply. However, Vaughn broke out a season-best 57-yard kickoff return Sunday against New England, and said he expects more of the same now that his ankle feels 100 percent.

AtlantaFalcons.com reports OT Ephraim Salaam, who injured his foot against Arizona last Sunday, practiced today and is probable on the injury report. LB Chris Draft did not participate in practice today due to his toe injury. Artie Ulmer has been taking his place at weakside linebacker. Backup CB Conrad Hamilton returned to practice for the first time since suffering a slight tear of his left hamstring in the first quarter of the Falcons season-opener. Coach Dan Reeves said it is unlikely he will play this week. CB Darrick Vaughn has been filling in for Hamilton in the nickel defense. Reeves also indicated if G Kynan Forney is ready to go, he will play. WR Tony Martin remains out with a broken clavicle in his right shoulder.

AtlantaFalcons.com reports two players injured in last week's pre-season game, DT Travis Hall (ankle sprain) and LB Matt Stewart (hip flexor) missed practice earlier today. Coach Reeves is hoping they can return to practice Wednesday after the team takes tomorrow off. The other injured Falcons were: DB Ronnie Bradford (knee), CB Conrad Hamilton (hamstring), RB Travis Jervey (elbow), LB Antony Jordan (back), WR Quentin McCord (hamstring) DT Shawn Swayda (knee) and CB Darrick Vaughn (hamstring). All of those players were able to practice with no apparent problems.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports Atlanta Falcons LBs Jeff Kelly (knee) and Corey Atkins (knee) along with CB Elijah Williams (knee) missed practice on Wednesday. Williams, who has a partially torn lateral collateral ligament in his right knee. He is expected to be out at least three more weeks. That may hurt his ability to survive the final cuts. FS Ronnie Bradford (tendinitis) and reserve CB Darrick Vaughn (sprained ankle) both practiced on Wednesday.

The team suffered multiple injuries last Friday against the Steelers inclduing: PK Jake Arians (groin), QB Doug Johnson (back), CB Elijah Williams (hamstring), LB Trey Merkens (ankle, knee), CB Darrick Vaughn (jaw), T Ephraim Salaam (knee), C Todd McClure (back), LB Artie Ulmer (hamstring), LB Henri Crockett (hip) and DE Chuck Wiley (hamstring). Arians, Johnson and Merkens were not able to practice today. LB Jeff Kelly was held out in the afternoon to rest his right knee. T Wes Shivers sprained his neck in the morning practice and was held out of action in the afternoon practice.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports the Atlanta Falcons had some good news on the injury front as they learned that LB Artie Ulmer did not break his right hand; he sprained it. LB Trey Merkens (left knee, right ankle) was injured during Friday's pre-season game and he is expected to undergo an MRI today. CBs Elijah Williams (hamstring) and Darrick Vaughn (jaw), T Ephraim Salaam (knee), C Todd McClure (back), and DE Chuck Wiley (hamstring) are all dinged up, but none of the injuries appear serious.
