Jim Thomas, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports a decision will be made soon on St. Louis Rams LB Trev Faulk (back), who underwent back surgery for a herniated disc in late spring. Pending results of a physical, he could end up on the Injured Reserve or Physically-Unable-to-Perform (PUP) list.

Fallstrom, of the Associated Press, reports St. Louis Rams LB Trev Faulk (back) is sitting out the minicamp after undergoing back surgery, but Rams' head coach Scott Linehan expects him to be ready for training camp. "It was one of those things where it was just nagging and it wasn't getting any better and you could see a lot of weakness in his ability to run."

Bill Coats, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports St. Louis Rams LB Trev Faulk is disappointed he will have to fight his way up the depth chart again. Faulk finished the 2005 season with 37 tackles in the last six games. The team brought in LB Will Witherspoon to take over at middle linebacker for the 2006 season. Faulk said, "There's nothing that I can do about it. They don't consult me before they make decisions on moves. It's business, and that's how it goes. ... But personally, it was a little disappointing."
