Cook had been 3-0 with a 1.89 ERA in five starts with Triple-A Pawtucket. "I felt good the first two innings (before getting spiked)," Cook said. "To be honest, I kind of felt like my leg was a little number (after getting spiked). I was throwing all arm and that caused the ball to be flat and up in the zone. It was one of those days."
