Cleveland Indians SP Brett Myers (elbow) showed diminished velocity during his rehab start with Double-A Akron. He'll require at least one more farm outing, said general manager Chris Antonetti.

Fantasy Tip: Myers' return will boot, in all likelihood, Corey Kluber from the rotation. AL-only players should be the only ones to care.

Fantasy Tip: If the Indians decide to put Myers back in the rotation when he's ready, Corey Kluber is the obvious candidate to be ousted. Myers is sporting an 8.02 ERA in three starts this year, so he's better left for desperate AL-only managers.

Cleveland Indians SP Brett Myers (elbow) said Tuesday, April 30, that he is itching to resume throwing again. Myers has been resting his right elbow, and Friday, May 3, will mark two weeks of rest. At that point, Myers will be re-evaluated and he might be cleared to begin a gradual throwing program.
