Toronto Blue Jays SP Mike Maroth is no longer being considered as a candidate for the starting rotation, according to John Lott of the National Post. The club has offered him the choice of going to the minors or accepting his release, but Maroth plans to discuss options with his agent before deciding whether to accept the assignment.
