Toronto Blue Jays bullpen coach Pat Hentgen has stepped down from his position due to family reasons. Pete Walker will serve as the bullpen coach next year. Hentgen will remain in the organization as a special assistant.

Jordan Bastian, of BlueJays.MLB.com, reports Toronto Blue Jays RP Pete Walker was told there is a position for him at Double-A New Hampshire but not at Triple-A Syracuse or in the Blue Jays' bullpen. Walker is currently taking some time to discuss his future with his family.

Toronto Blue Jays RP Pete Walker (shoulder) has rejoined the team for the remainder of their final homestand, according to Jordan Bastian of Toronto.Bluejays.MLB.com. Walker said the operation on his rotator cuff went well, and he expects to resume throwing in October.

The Toronto Blue Jays have placed RP Pete Walker (shoulder) on the 15-day disabled list, because of a shoulder strain, according to the Associated Press. He is scheduled to be examined by Dr. James Andrews, Monday, July 10, in Birmingham, Ala.
