|Giants | SF confirming interest in John Lackey|
Tue, 24 Nov 2015 12:08:52 -0800
Fantasy Tip: Lackey may have parlayed his success last season into another contract of one or two years. He will be a decent selection in the middle rounds of most fantasy drafts, maybe even a little higher if he lands in the right situation.

|MLB | Two teams looking at John Lackey|
Sun, 22 Nov 2015 15:56:34 -0800
Fantasy Tip: The St. Louis Cardinals have also chimed in but not to the extent these two teams might have interest. Lackey would be a decent option as long as the deal was less than two years. His decent postseason will give him a bump up on draft boards, at least to the middle rounds.

|Cardinals | John Lackey set for free agency|
Fri, 13 Nov 2015 14:36:55 -0800
Fantasy Tip: Lackey posted a career-best 2.77 ERA in 2015, which is rare for a 36-year-old hurler, and he also maintained a respectable 1.21 WHIP and 7.2 K/9. Lackey's fantasy value for the 2016 campaign will largely depend on where Lackey signs during the offseason, so check back for updates. However, it is unlikely he repeats his 2015 numbers next season.

|Cardinals | Jason Heyward, John Lackey land offer|
Fri, 06 Nov 2015 08:55:26 -0800
Fantasy Tip: Heyward will be an outfielder to target in the tier between the elite and midrange outfielders in drafts. Lackey is a solid midrange grab, but where he lands will have an impact on his fantasy value.

Tue, 13 Oct 2015 21:30:36 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Lackey ($7,800, 15.6% of cap) killed FantasyScore owners in this final postseason start of the season, tossing just 49 pitches before giving way to the bullpen.

|Cardinals | John Lackey starting on short rest|
Tue, 13 Oct 2015 06:49:36 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Lackey ($7,800, 15.6% of cap) was dominant in Game 1, but the wind conditions made Wrigley Field a bandbox in Game 3. He's a high-end start with considerable risk on FantasyScore.

|Cardinals | John Lackey solid on short rest|

Fantasy Tip: Lackey ($7,800, 15.6% of cap) may be called upon to rescue the Cardinals, who may face a 2-1 deficit following Game 3. Considering how well he fared in Game 1, it may be worth taking a flier on Lackey.

|Cardinals | John Lackey wins Game 1|
Fri, 09 Oct 2015 18:29:47 -0700
St. Louis Cardinals SP John Lackey allowed two hits over 7 1/3 scoreless innings in a victory over the Chicago Cubs in Game 1 of the National League Division Series Friday, Oct. 9. He walked one and struck out five.
Fantasy Tip: Lackey ($7,800, 15.6% of cap) flirted with a no-hitter until Addison Russell led off the sixth inning with a single. Including his outings during the regular season, Lackey is 3-0 with a 0.92 ERA against the Cubs in four starts this year and makes a solid FantasyScore pitching option.

|Cardinals | John Lackey liked facing Cubbies|
Fri, 09 Oct 2015 11:04:30 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Lackey ($7,800, 15.6% of cap) also fared much better at home this year than on the road, so he lines up as a nice FantasyScore pick today for a little cheaper cost than some of the other aces going.

|Cardinals | John Lackey tabbed for Game 1|
Wed, 07 Oct 2015 10:45:32 -0700
Fantasy Tip: The Red Birds await the winner of the Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates in the wild-card game. Lackey ($7,800, 15.6% of cap) has plenty of postseason experience but isn't your prototypical ace. Lackey pitched well this year to the tune of a 2.77 ERA and didn't allow more than three earned runs in any of his starts in the season's final month. He's not a sexy daily pick in the playoffs, but he can be serviceable as your second starter.
