ESPN.com's Peter Gammons reports the Houston Astros have four pitchers on the bubble to make the squad with no minor-league options left. They are Tim Redding, Carlos Hernandez, Pete Munro and Brandon Duckworth. If one of them were to be sent to the minors, they would have to clear waivers first. After Munro's showing late last year and in the playoffs, all four are unlikely to pass through waivers.

The Houston Chronicle's Jose De Jesus Ortiz reports Houston Astros SP Pete Munro was disappointed in his performance during Game 6 of the National League Championship Series Wednesday, Oct. 20. "I guess upset would be the best word," Munro said after giving up eight hits and four runs over 2 1/3 innings and retiring only seven of the 15 batters he faced. "So much attention was put on me starting this game, and I didn't show up."
