Manager Felipe Alou has pegged Cincinnati Reds SPs Edinson Volquez and Johnny Cueto for two of the three games, and free-agent SP Pedro Martinez or Jimenez are in line for the third game. That could disrupt Jimenez's pitching schedule.

Fri, 22 Sep 2006 19:33:14 -0400 The Associated Press reports San Francisco Giants RP Jamey Wright has been suspended three games Friday, Sept. 22, for intentionally throwing at an opposing hitter, while manager Felipe Alou has been suspended one game. Alou was suspended because both teams in the Giants game Tuesday, Sept. 19, had been warned prior to Wright hitting Colorado Rockies OF Matt Holliday with a pitch. Both will begin serving their suspensions Friday.
