The Chicago Tribune reports Chicago White Sox RP Bret Prinz cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Charlotte on June 19. Prinz has until June 21 to either accept the assignment or decline it and become a free agent.

The Associated Press reports the Chicago White Sox have purchased the contract of RP Bret Prinz from Triple-A Charlotte.

According to The Chicago Tribune, two minor-league relievers are competing to replace RP Andrew Sisco, who was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte on May 27. RP Bret Prinz, who has a 0.68 ERA and one save, and RP Carlos Vasquez, whose ERA is 0.57, are the two being considered.

The Orange County Register reports Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim RP Bret Prinz (shoulder) played catch for a second consecutive day Thursday, April 21 and said it was the first time he had felt no pain in his right shoulder. Prinz said he expects to come off the disabled list when the Angels get to Minnesota the weekend of April 30.
