Detroit Lions C Dominic Raiola fully expects to suffer from short-term memory loss when his career is over. Raiola said NFL players know the condition is a hazard and one of the rigors of their job. "I think when you sign up for this job, you know what you're getting into," Raiola said. During the season, Raiola said he had been "dinged up" enough in his career to see "black and white with little stars," but wouldn't pull himself out of a game because of concussion-like symptoms.

Detroit Lions DL Kyle Vanden Bosch, DL Cliff Avril, OL Don Muhlbach, OL Dominic Raiola, OL Rob Sims and OL Stephen Peterman worked out together during an hour-long session Monday, March 14, according to NFL.com. Vanden Bosch set up the gym so that his teammates could work out together during the lockout.

Detroit Lions C Dominic Raiola shouted an obscenity at a fan as he walked off the field in Week 16 against the Miami Dolphins, reports Tom Kowalski, of MLive.com. Raiola has been fined by the team before for incidents involving fans and he might be facing a fine or suspension for this latest incident.

The Detroit Lions starting offensive line appears to be set for the most part, reports Chris McCosky, of The Detroit News. RT Gosder Cherilus and Jon Jansen continue to share first-string reps, while LT Jeff Backus, LG Rob Sims, C Dominic Raiola and RG Stephen Peterman appear set with the first-string unit. The second-string consists of LT Corey Hilliard, LG Roy Schuening, C Dylan Gandy, RG Manuel Ramirez and Jansen at RT. Rookie OT Jason Fox has also been seeing some reps on the left side.

Detroit Lions C Dominic Raiola said he likes to see all of talent the team has on the field during offseason workouts but is not ready to predict how the team will perform this season, reports John Niyo, of The Detroit News. "No speculation on how good we can be," Raiola said. "We'll kind of wait and see. But I definitely see a lot more talent on the field and a lot of jobs up (for grabs) and a lot of guys competing."
