John Tomase, of the Boston Herald, reports New England Patriots QB Tom Brady spoke for the first time Thursday, Sept. 14, of the trade that sent WR Deion Branch to the Seattle Seahawks earlier in the week. "I think everyone wanted Deion here. Certainly myself, knowing what kind of person and player he is," said Brady. "I speak for myself when I say that I'm a very emotional person and over the last four or five months, it's been draining. At least now I feel like I can move on." Brady said he felt that it affected his performance in Week 1, and that it was a mental drain on him. The team hopes wide receivers Doug Gabriel (hamstring) and Chad Jackson (hamstring) are able to go in Week 2 to help replace Branch's numbers.
