New England Patriots WR Torry Holt may not make the team's final roster, according to Tim Graham, of ESPN.com. Holt appears to be sitting sixth at best on the depth chart at wide receiver, behind WRs Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Julian Edelman, Brandon Tate and Taylor Price. WR Sam Aiken, who made 11 tackles and forced a fumble on special teams last year, could also earn a roster spot ahead of Holt.

Aiken was the team's special teams captain last season, but it appears his role of punter protector has been usurped by a variety of candidates. He could be competing with WR Torry Holt for the final wide receiver spot, but Aiken's chances of making the team could be lessened if he sees a reduced role on special teams.
