Minnesota Vikings TE Visanthe Shiancoe did not like being asked about the team winning as opposed to the "Suck for Luck" campaign fans in various NFL cities have joked about, suggesting teams lose on purpose to secure the No. 1 overall pick to grab Stanford QB Andrew Luck. "Suck for Luck? No, that means that you give up, and we don't want to give up," Shiancoe said Saturday, Dec. 24. "We owe ourselves that."

Minnesota Vikings TE Visanthe Shiancoe said he did not see the necessary effort from some teammates in Week 15. "I would say, you could see some guys hung it up," Shiancoe said. "Not a lot though. Like a very small handful of guys." Shiancoe said it was "very, very disappointing" to see that happen and made it clear he wants no part of being with a team that could be the worst in franchise history.
