Seattle Seahawks president Tim Ruskell discussed the team's running back situation during a question and answer session on Seahawks.com. "I don't anticipate a problem in terms of Shaun Alexander not being here. But if that happened and it was a prolonged situation where he was not here, we would look at the guys that we have right now. I'm talking about RBs Maurice Morris and Kerry Carter, and we drafted and signed as a free agent a couple of backup fullbacks in that position; and we're encouraged by what those guys showed us in the minicamp. We have some people here that we think can do the job, but if it looked early in camp that this looked like it was going to be a protracted holdout, and we weren't satisfied with the progress our other guys were making, then we would look at beefing up that position," commented Ruskell.
