|Cowboys | Training camp signifies Tony Romo deadline|
Tue, 28 Mar 2017 17:12:50 -0700
Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo will know his fate by training camp at the latest, according to owner Jerry Jones. Jones said he has talked to Romo in the last couple of days, saying the veteran quarterback "has options."
Fantasy Tip: It's somewhat of a cryptic message from Jones, but Romo's options are essentially that he will be cut or traded and play for another team or simply retire. He is not expected to remain with the Cowboys. Romo has QB1 potential when he is healthy, but he has only played in five games in the last two seasons. He's just too risky to be drafted at this point, especially considering his ambiguous future.

|Broncos | Tony Romo unlikely to join Broncos|
Mon, 27 Mar 2017 15:56:56 -0700
Fantasy Tip: The Broncos seem to be happy with Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch as their options at quarterback in 2017. Both players received starts this past season and likely will compete for the job during training camp. The winner of the competition probably can be considered a No. 2 fantasy quarterback.

|Cowboys | Tony Romo's situation may drag on|
Mon, 27 Mar 2017 15:42:54 -0700
Fantasy Tip: The Houston Texans appear to be the most likely candidate for Romo if he decides to continue his playing career. He would be the starting quarterback if he joins the Texans and would have some nice weapons to work with on offense. He could be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in fantasy leagues next season if he is healthy.

|Texans | Houston only option for Tony Romo?|
Fri, 24 Mar 2017 13:53:21 -0700
Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo believes the Houston Texans and retirement are his options next season if he is released by the Cowboys, according to sources. The Denver Broncos are not pursing Romo, but they are not ruling out the possibility of signing him.
Fantasy Tip: Romo is still part of the Cowboys at this point, but he likely will be released at some point this offseason. He would be the starting quarterback if he joins the Texans and could be a low-end No. 1 fantasy quarterback in 2017 if he plays for Houston.

|Broncos | Denver has not talked about Tony Romo|
Mon, 13 Mar 2017 12:31:17 -0700
Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo has not been discussed by the Denver Broncos, according to head coach Vance Joseph. General manager John Elway and Joseph have both emphasized that they are comfortable with QBs Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch as their quarterbacks.
Fantasy Tip: The Broncos do, or did, make sense for Romo, but it also makes sense to stick with what they have in Siemian and Lynch. Siemian figures to begin offseason activities as the starter, but Lynch won't be the backup without a fight. That being said, neither is a starting fantasy quarterback as of now.

|Broncos | Denver not eyeing Tony Romo?|
Fri, 10 Mar 2017 18:39:23 -0800
Fantasy Tip: Romo's fate remains up in the air, but he is still expected to be the starter somewhere in 2017. He is injury prone, but he has QB1 upside. Grab him as a fantasy backup if you have a stable QB1.

|Cowboys | Tony Romo to be traded?|
Thu, 09 Mar 2017 11:12:26 -0800
Fantasy Tip: Romo was expected to be released, but a trade would obviously be more beneficial to the Cowboys. The Broncos and Texans are the main suitors. Trevor Siemian and Brock Osweiler are not starting caliber fantasy quarterbacks anyway. Romo, on the other hand, can achieve QB1 status when he is on the field. The key is for him to be on the field.

Wed, 08 Mar 2017 11:07:50 -0800
Fantasy Tip: Romo is expected to receive interest from multiple teams including the Denver Broncos and Houston Texans. He should be a starter no matter where he signs and has a chance to be a No. 1 fantasy quarterback if he is healthy.

|Broncos | Denver expected to pursue Tony Romo|
Mon, 06 Mar 2017 15:06:52 -0800
Fantasy Tip: Romo likely will receive interest from multiple teams, but the Broncos could give him a chance to make the playoffs in 2017. He would have a solid receiver tandem to work with in Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders but would have to stay healthy. Romo could be a No. 1 fantasy quarterback if he signs with the Broncos.
