"On a close call, we drafted two defensive linemen, but he is too good to cut," admitted Green. "Normally you wouldn't have more than eight defensive linemen when you take two in the draft but he is holding his own and he is the one that is playing, and the other two are learning how to play. He has come back and done a good job."

Updating a previous report, Mark Curnutte, of the Cincinnati Enquirer, reports Cincinnati Bengals DT Langston Moore (ankle/knee) was placed on Injured Reserve after it was revealed his ankle injury was more complicated than originally believed. Coach Marvin Lewis said Moore also strained a tendon in his left knee. Nevertheless, Moore is expected to be fully recovered in time for the start of the strength and conditioning program in March.
