The Kansas City Chiefs have shown interest in free-agent DL Aubrayo Franklin (Saints). Franklin is a solid 3-4 nose tackle who can be a solid rotational player for the team. Nose tackle is also one of the Chiefs' biggest needs at this point.

Updating a previous report, New Orleans Saints DL Aubrayo Franklin, who did not play nose tackle in 2011, might consider moving back to the position if the price is right. Franklin served as a tackle in the 4-3 defensive scheme for the New Orleans Saints last season after the market never really developed for him in a 3-4 setting. Two personnel directors mentioned Franklin as a possible "sleeper" at the position when asked at the Super Bowl last week.
