Dan Martin, of the New York Post, reports New York Jets SS Kerry Rhodes said he believes LB Vernon Gholston will be up to the task of replacing LB Calvin Pace, who was suspended the first four games of the season for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances. "We've got capable guys and Gholston has learned the system and is doing better," Rhodes said. "He's been through a whole year and he's older. And now he's going to be more aggressive and attack. But it's not just him. We're not going to put all the pressure on him."

Eric Allen, of NewYorkJets.com, reports New York Jets LB Calvin Pace has been suspended four games for violating the NFL's policy on performing enhancing substances. Pace said in a statement that the violation occurred because he used an over-the-counter dietary supplement that contained a substance banned by the league that he did not know about.
