The Associated Press reports free-agent PK Jason Elam (Falcons) will sign a one-day contract with the Denver Broncos so he can retire with the team. Elam played 15 seasons with the Broncos from 1993 to 2007.

Falcons | Elam dealing with technique issues

Orlando Ledbetter, of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, reports Atlanta Falcons PK Jason Elam admitted that he has been having some technique problems, which are responsible for his poor performance this year. "There are some technique issues that I've got to fix," Elam said. "I've gone back and looked at film from earlier in my career. I've looked at all kinds of stuff, trying to figure this out."

The Associated Press reports the Atlanta Falcons worked out free-agent PKs Steven Hauschka (Ravens), Sam Swant, Shane Andrus (Buccaneers) and Brandon Coutu (Seahawks) Tuesday, Nov. 24, as they look for a replacement to struggling PK Jason Elam. Elam has made just 10 of his 16 attempted field goals this year.
