John Murphy, of Yahoo! Sports, reports the Minnesota Vikings have shown interest in Canadian Football League CB Korey Banks. Banks has said, however, that he is unlikely to accept a minimum offer without receiving some type of up front bonus to show the team is really interested in giving him a shot of winning a roster spot.

The Sun-Sentinel reports Miami Dolphins LB Korey Banks (spine) suffered what the team was calling a "stinger." Banks hopes to return by the final preseason game on Friday, Sept. 3, against the New Orleans Saints.

Miami Dolphins CB Korey Banks (spine) injured his spine while making a tackle during the second quarter of the team's exhibition game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, Aug. 14, according to the Associated Press. He was expected to remain overnight at a hospital for observation. Medical personnel treated him on the field for several minutes, before he was strapped onto a cart with his head immobilized and taken away. Banks was able to move his arms and legs immediately after suffering the injury, which is not considered to be serious.
