Matt Mosley, of ESPN.com, reports Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Brian Stewart believes LB Bradie James is poised to have a Pro Bowl season. Stewart ideally would like to see James' playing weight at 245 pounds. "Anything lower than 240 and he'll lose his thud," Stewart said. "He's one of our best thud guys, so we don't need to get him too thin."

Rob Phillips, of DallasCowboys.com, reports Dallas Cowboys LB Bradie James is unlikely to play in the team's nickel defense again in 2008. James said, "We've got too much talent. I could see if we didn't have all the linebackers we have, all the secondary guys we have. I preach everybody has a role, do your best at your role. I would like to play third down because I feel like that gives me a chance to go for individual accolades, but I've got to make it work without playing third down."

Nick Eatman, of DallasCowboys.com, reports players from the Dallas Cowboys are excited about the changes head coach Wade Phillips has made to the team's 3-4 defense. LB Bradie James said, "We got excited defensively, because they were running some things that we have always wanted to do. There is just pressure coming from everywhere. When I watched the film, I still didn't know who was (blitzing). When you go from a base defense, basically what we ran last year, to something like this, it makes you more excited to go play some football."
