Josh Ellis, of DallasCowboys.com, reports Dallas Cowboys LB Bradie James may try to add some weight before the start of training camp because he knows he will be losing weight during the regular season. "Now is the time to get in the best shape of my life, our lives, going into training camp, because you've got pads on. You want to eat a little bit because you know you're going to lose some weight during the season. It's all about your endurance, because once the season comes, it's not a sprint, it's a marathon," James said.

Matt Mosley, of ESPN.com, reports Dallas Cowboys LB Zach Thomas thinks he will not return to the team next season because he hasn't been at his natural middle linebacker spot."It's hard to do something for 12 years, play a position and then change and try to make it work," Thomas said. "I'm a little outside my comfort zone switching positions. But when you've got a guy like Bradie James at Mike who's All Pro and had a great year...I just feel like I gotta be fair to myself. I don't regret any of it."

I could see if we didn't have all the linebackers we have, all the secondary guys we have. I preach everybody has a role, do your best at your role. I would like to play third down because I feel like that gives me a chance to go for individual accolades, but I've got to make it work without playing third down."
