Texans | Confident in Bradie James

The Houston Texans are very confident that LB Bradie James will more than make up for the fact that they traded away LB DeMeco Ryans this offseason. "I don't mind throwing it on the table, we're pretty pleased with picking Bradie (James) up, because we feel like we gained back what we lost with DeMeco leaving, and then some to be honest with you," linebackers coach Reggie Herring said.

Dallas Cowboys LBs Sean Lee and DeMarcus Ware were the most active on the defense in the team's loss to the New York Jets in Week 1. LBs Bradie James and Keith Brooking wound up rotating in the other linebacker spot. "Sean worked his tail off in training camp and deserved the right to be out there. I'm fine with the situation," Brooking said immediately after the game. "I know my role on my team and I accept the role fully. As we get to playing more and playing more snaps, it'll work itself out."
