Colts | Andre Johnson likely to be cut

Wed, 10 Feb 2016 08:18:02 -0800

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson is likely to be released in the offseason. The team will have to eat $2.5 million in dead money if he's cut.

Fantasy Tip: AJ had a disappointing 41-503-4 season, but he could catch on elsewhere and still be a factor in PPR leagues. He'll be a WR5 flyer near the end of drafts.

Colts | Friday injury report for Week 13

Fri, 04 Dec 2015 10:59:08 -0800

Indianapolis Colts OT Anthony Castonzo (knee), WR Phillip Dorsett (ankle), LB Jerrell Freeman (hamstring), QB Andrew Luck (abdomen, kidney) and OG Hugh Thornton (elbow) are out for Week 13 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. OG Khaled Holmes (leg) is questionable, while S Mike Adams (ankle, hamstring) and LB Erik Walden (heel) are probable. Castonzo, Freeman, Holmes, Luck and Thornton didn't practice Friday, Dec. 4. Dorsett was limited, while the others practiced in full. LB Trent Cole (rest), CB Vontae Davis (rest), LB D'Qwell Jackson (rest), WR Andre Johnson (rest), LB Robert Mathis (rest) and CB Greg Toler (rest) were taken off the report.

Colts | Andre Johnson practices in full

Thu, 03 Dec 2015 15:14:56 -0800

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 3.

Fantasy Tip: Even in the favorable matchup, Johnson ($2,100, 4.2% of cap) hasn't been involved enough in the passing game to be seen as a viable option in the majority of fantasy formats in Week 13, and especially at FantasyScore. After all, over his past three games, Johnson has received just eight targets and caught only two passes. Aim higher.

Colts | Andre Johnson sits out

Wed, 02 Dec 2015 17:10:34 -0800

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 2.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($2,100, 4.2% of cap) likely received a day off and should be fine for the Week 13 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has caught only two passes in the last three weeks and is not a great option on FantasyScore even though he has a favorable matchup.

Colts | Frank Gore, Andre Johnson probable

Fri, 27 Nov 2015 12:01:40 -0800

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore (ankle) and WR Andre Johnson (non-injury) are listed as probable for Week 12 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fantasy Tip: The Bucs have been solid against the run this year, allowing just four rushing touchdowns in ten games, so Gore ($6,000, 12.0% of cap) is a risky start on FantasyScore this week. Johnson ($3,000, 6.0%) has been much too inconsistent to be rostered, either, so look elsewhere.

Colts | Andre Johnson fully practices

Thu, 26 Nov 2015 13:50:39 -0800

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson (ankle) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 26.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($3,000, 6.0% of cap) will be able to play despite missing practice earlier in the week. He posted some solid numbers earlier in the season but has only one catch in his last two games. Owners on FantasyScore should be able to find better options to use at the position.

Colts | Andre Johnson resting Wednesday

Wed, 25 Nov 2015 11:39:01 -0800

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson (rest) sat out of practice Wednesday, Nov. 25.

Fantasy Tip: It's typical for the veteran Johnson ($3,000, 6.0% of cap) to sit out on Wednesdays. Johnson had another lackluster performance in Week 11 with just one catch for 13 yards. With Matt Hasselbeck under center currently it's even harder to expect a decent performance from Johnson. Ignore him on FantasyScore.

Colts | Week 11 injury report

Fri, 20 Nov 2015 10:39:20 -0800

Indianapolis Colts S Mike Adams (ankle), WR Phillip Dorsett (ankle) and QB Andrew Luck (abdomen, kidney) have been ruled out for Week 11 against the Atlanta Falcons. LB Josh McNary (groin) is questionable, while LB Nate Irving (knee) and LB D'Qwell Jackson (hamstring) are probable. Adams, Dorsett, Luck and McNary didn't practice Friday, Nov. 20, while Irving and Jackson practiced in full. WR Andre Johnson (rest) and LB Robert Mathis (rest) were removed from the report.

Colts | Andre Johnson has full practice

Thu, 19 Nov 2015 12:08:19 -0800

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson (rest) practiced in full Thursday, Nov. 19, after resting Wednesday, Nov. 18.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($3,000, 6.0% of cap) has been largely invisible this season, and things aren't looking up for him with Matt Hasselbeck at quarterback for the foreseeable future with Andrew Luck beat up. Johnson had his biggest game of the year with Hasselbeck under center, but don't count on a recurrence of that this weekend against a stout Atlanta Falcons secondary.

Colts | Andre Johnson resting Wednesday

Wed, 18 Nov 2015 12:43:04 -0800

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson (rest) sat out of practice to rest Wednesday, Nov. 18.

Fantasy Tip: Aside from his six-catch, 77-yard, two-touchdown performance against his previous team, the Houston Texans, Johnson ($3,000, 6.0% of cap) has done very little this year. That game did come with Matt Hasselbeck, who'll be starting in Week 11 against the Atlanta Falcons, at the helm, though. Regardless, Johnson should be low on your targets of value picks on FantasyScore against a tough Falcons secondary.

Colts | Friday injury report for Week 9

Fri, 06 Nov 2015 13:26:44 -0800

Indianapolis Colts WR Phillip Dorsett (ankle) and LB Nate Irving (knee) have been ruled out for Week 9 against the Denver Broncos. C Khaled Holmes (neck), CB Darius Butler (foot) and S Winston Guy (shoulder) are probable. Dorsett and Irving didn't practice Friday, Nov. 6. Holmes was limited, while Butler and Guy practiced in full. CB Vontae Davis (rest), LB D'Qwell Jackson (rest), WR Andre Johnson (rest) and LB Robert Mathis (rest) were removed from the report.

Colts | T.J. Hilton unlikely to play

Thu, 05 Nov 2015 16:02:00 -0800

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (foot) missed practice for the second straight day Thursday, Nov. 5, and appears unlikely to play in Week 9 against the Denver Broncos. Hilton was in a boot during practice Thursday for his foot sprain. WRs Andre Johnson and Donte Moncrief are likely to see extra looks if Hilton sits out.

Fantasy Tip: Do not put Hilton ($7,800, 15.6% of cap) in your FantasyScore lineups. The Colts already faced an elite defense in the Broncos, and now it becomes tougher. Fading all of the Colts offensive players in this one is probably the right move, including Andrew Luck.

Colts | Andre Johnson back at practice

Thu, 05 Nov 2015 15:37:10 -0800

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 5.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($3,300, 6.6% of cap) received a day off earlier in the week and should be fine for the game against the Denver Broncos. Johnson has been a bigger part of the passing game over the last few weeks but may not be the best option since the Broncos allow the second fewest fantasy points to wide receivers this season.

Colts | Andre Johnson sits out Wednesday

Wed, 04 Nov 2015 17:18:13 -0800

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 4.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($3,300, 6.6% of cap) received a day off and should be fine for the Week 9 game against the Denver Broncos. Johnson has played better after a quiet start to the season but is still not a great fantasy option for owners.

Colts | Andre Johnson finally shows up

Mon, 02 Nov 2015 22:37:29 -0800

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson had four receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown in the Week 8 game against the Carolina Panthers Monday, Nov. 2. He was targeted eight times.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($3,300, 6.6% of cap) finally had an Andre Johnson-like performance, by far his best in an Indianapolis uniform. However, don't look for the good times to continue against a lockdown Denver defense in Week 9.

Texans | DeAndre Hopkins reaches milestone

Sun, 01 Nov 2015 13:23:46 -0800

Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins is ahead of WR Andre Johnson's pace for yardage gained over his first three seasons as a Texan. Hopkins had 94 yards Sunday, Nov. 1, in a 20-6 win over the Tennessee Titans. Hopkins now has 3,076 yards in 40 games to Johnson's 2,806 yards in 45 games.

Fantasy Tip: Hopkins ($8,500, 17.0% of cap) has been one of the big bright spots in an otherwise blah season for the Texans. As long as he and QB Brian Hoyer have rapport, Hopkins is worth starting.

Colts | Andre Johnson will be able to play

Fri, 23 Oct 2015 15:26:17 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 23, and is not on the injury report for the Week 7 game against the New Orleans Saints.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) received a day off earlier in the week but will be fine for the game against the Saints. Johnson has been a little more active in the passing game the last two weeks but is still not a great option for fantasy owners.

Colts | Andre Johnson back at practice

Thu, 22 Oct 2015 14:17:38 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson (rest) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Oct. 22.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) blew up for two touchdowns two weeks ago in a game against his old squad but has done next to nothing outside of that. Andrew Luck and the Colts shouldn't have problems moving the ball through the air against the New Orleans Saints in Week 7, but Johnson remains a low-end daily pick for now.

Colts | Andre Johnson resting Wednesday

Wed, 21 Oct 2015 15:23:18 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson (rest) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 21.

Fantasy Tip: Wednesday is generally the day of the week on which veterans rest. Johnson should still be on the field against the New Orleans Saints this weekend. Johnson has yet to have a good outing with Andrew Luck at quarterback; he's a risky investment on FantasyScore in Week 7.

Colts | Andre Johnson likely will play

Fri, 16 Oct 2015 13:41:15 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 16, and is listed as probable for the Week 6 game against the New England Patriots.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($3,400, 6.8% of cap) has his best game of the season in Week 5 when he recorded 77 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Johnson likely will see his normal amount of targets in Week 6, but owners may want to consider other options since Johnson has not done much in his other four games.

Colts | Andre Johnson has full practice

Thu, 15 Oct 2015 14:21:56 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson (rest) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Oct. 15, after resting Wednesday, Oct. 14.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($3,400, 6.8% of cap) had the best game of his season so far in Week 5. Indy could be slinging the football early and often against the New England Patriots Sunday night, but caution should still be taken if considering Johnson as he hadn't done much before last week.

Colts | Andre Johnson sits out of practice

Wed, 14 Oct 2015 13:26:44 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson (rest) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 14.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($3,400, 6.8% of cap) had his only good outing of the year so far last week against his former team in the Houston Texans. Right now it's hard to say if that was an anomaly or a sign of things to come. He's still a risky proposition this week against the New England Patriots, but things could be looking upward.

Colts | Andre Johnson burns former team

Thu, 08 Oct 2015 20:40:11 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson had six catches for 77 yards and two touchdowns in a 27-20 win over the Houston Texans in Week 5.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($2,400, 4.8% of cap) had seven catches for 51 yards and zero touchdowns in the first four games of the year, but he broke out against his former team. The performance is encouraging, but wait until Johnson strings together a few solid games before trusting him at FantasyScore.

Colts | Andre Johnson has disappeared

Tue, 06 Oct 2015 11:27:22 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson had just two targets and was held without a catch again in Week 4 against the Jacksonville Jaguars and has disappeared in the offense often this year. WR T.Y. Hilton had 11 more targets than Johnson this past week and TE Coby Fleener was targeted 10 more times. Johnson has struggled to create separation from opposing secondaries and is often the third, fourth or fifth option in the receiving game. He has mostly played out wide his entire career but has often found himself lining up in the slot this year, too. Even more perplexing is that Johnson was dominant in training camp and developed a strong rapport with QB Andrew Luck.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($2,400, 4.8% of cap) is returning to face his old team, the Houston Texans, this Thursday night. However, after two straight games with zero catches, it's almost impossible to consider him in daily or traditional formats. As Johnson adapts to his new diminished role as he ages, it may take all year for him to adapt.

Colts | Andre Johnson without a catch again

Sun, 04 Oct 2015 15:20:40 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson went without a catch once again Sunday, Oct. 4, in a 16-13 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) was just targeted twice. Four games into the season, it looks like Johnson made a big mistake coming to Indianapolis, or the Colts may have erred in signing him. Until the team figures out how best to use him, take him out of your lineup.

Colts | Andre Johnson off injury report

Fri, 02 Oct 2015 14:04:44 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 2, and is no longer on the injury report for Week 4 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) will be able to play against Jacksonville, but his value could take a hit if Andrew Luck is not able to play. Johnson has started off slowly this season and is not the best option for owners.

Colts | Andre Johnson back at practice

Thu, 01 Oct 2015 14:49:15 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 1.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) has struggled in his new surroundings and has posted only 51 receiving yards over three games. Owners may want to wait until he posts better numbers before using him in their lineups.

Colts | Breakout game for Andre Johnson?

Wed, 30 Sep 2015 21:03:19 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson will face the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 4. As a member of the Houston Texans last season Johnson had his only double-digit reception and 100-yard game against the Jaguars. He finished with 10 grabs for 134 yards and a touchdown Dec. 28, 2014, against the Jags, and he has three 100-yard games against them in his past six, including a career-high 273 yards in a game Nov. 18, 2012.

Fantasy Tip: All of that history is great, but Johnson ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) has still been a ghost in the passing game in Indianapolis. Will the two-toned helmets of the Jaguars spur him to his best game of the season? It's quite a leap of faith, especially since he was shut out last weekend.

Colts | Andre Johnson not comfortable yet

Wed, 30 Sep 2015 16:48:13 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson has only seven receptions on 18 targets for 51 yards in three games and has been a complete non-factor. "A lot of people don't realize how hard that is, to try to build being your first time in a new place," Johnson said. "It takes a lot of work. It takes time for a guy to feel very comfortable, to make that relationship very comfortable. It's something we work on every day. Other than that, I'm just here working and trying to get better as a player daily." QB Andrew Luck and Johnson didn't spend much time together during the preseason, and three of Luck's league-high seven interceptions have come on passes thrown to Johnson.

Fantasy Tip: The season is still young, so all is not lost for Johnson ($3,600, 7.2% of cap), especially since his QB is one of the best young talents in the game. But until we see Johnson more involved in this passing game, he should be avoided on FantasyScore.

Colts | Andre Johnson resting

Wed, 30 Sep 2015 16:43:51 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson (non-injury) did not practice Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) will likely be rested often in practice during the year. The veteran receiver had 10 targets in Week 1 but has tailed off since and has only 51 total yards to show for it. He was on the sidelines often in the second half in Week 3 and had no catches. Until we see Andrew Luck involve Johnson in the aerial attack in Indy it's impossible to rely on him for anything positive on FantasyScore.

Colts | Andre Johnson sat most of final quarter

Wed, 30 Sep 2015 07:02:22 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson sat out most of the fourth quarter Sunday, Sept. 27, in Week 3 and had just one target all game with no catches.

Fantasy Tip: AJ ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) comes at a cheap price on FantasyScore if you have faith in him against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 4.

Colts | Andre Johnson off to slow start

Mon, 28 Sep 2015 11:49:26 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson has only tallied seven catches on 18 targets for 51 yards and no touchdowns through the first three games of the 2015 season.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson still needs to acclimate to Andrew Luck and the Colts' offense. Indianapolis does have a plethora of offensive weapons, but that doesn't mean Johnson will be forgotten. The offense as a whole has struggled so far. Once they get going as a group, Johnson should also start producing more.

Colts | Andre Johnson listed as probable

Fri, 25 Sep 2015 14:30:47 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 25, and is listed as probable for the Week 3 game against the Tennessee Titans.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($5,200, 10.4% of cap) should see his regular amount of work in Week 3 but has not been able to post big numbers in his first two games of the season. Owners should be able to find better options to use in their lineups this week.

Colts | Andre Johnson a full participant

Thu, 24 Sep 2015 16:20:08 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson (non-injury) returned to practice in full capacity Thursday, Sept. 24.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($5,200, 10.4% of cap) is relatively cheap for a caliber of wide receiver like him, but he hasn't been producing in the first two weeks of the season. T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief seem to be the Colts' top two receivers right now. It's too risky to bank on this being Johnson's breakout week.

Colts | Andre Johnson not on the field

Wed, 23 Sep 2015 15:51:26 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 23.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($5,200, 10.4% of cap) likely was receiving a day off and should be fine for the Week 3 game against the Tennessee Titans. Johnson has posted only 57 receiving yards over the first two games and may not be a good option until the team's offense becomes more consistent.

Colts | Andre Johnson nearly non-existent

Mon, 21 Sep 2015 21:42:56 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson posted three receptions for 27 yards in the Week 2 loss against the New York Jets Monday, Sept. 21.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) has looked every bit of 34 years old through his first two games, posting just seven catches for 51 yards on 17 targets. He is way overpriced in FantasyScore and not a recommended option heading into Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans.

Colts | Andre Johnson headed to Revis Island?

Fri, 18 Sep 2015 18:47:50 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson faces the New York Jets in Week 2, and he could be covered by CB Darrelle Revis if WR T.Y. Hilton (knee) is unable to play.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) should see more targets if Hilton ($6,900, 13.8% of cap) can't play, but a potential matchup with Revis would likely offset any extra targets. It might not be a bad idea to avoid Johnson at FantasyScore all together.

Colts | Quiet debut for Andre Johnson

Sun, 13 Sep 2015 17:17:22 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson caught four passes for 24 yards in a 27-14 loss to the Buffalo Bills Sunday, Sept. 13.

Fantasy Tip: Buffalo does have a tough defense, so don't write off Johnson ($5,300, 10.6% of cap) as a potential starter at FantasyScore, especially with T.Y. Hilton ($6,900, 13.8% of cap) possibly set to miss time.

Colts | Andre Johnson won't play every down

Wed, 12 Aug 2015 14:15:33 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson will be on a pitch count of sorts in his first season with the Colts.

Fantasy Tip: This would be a smart move by Indy in an effort to keep Johnson healthy in the latter stage of his career. T.Y. Hilton and Andre Johnson are the Colts 1 and 1a receivers. Johnson should be more of a possession receiver while Hilton plays a deep threat role.

Dolphins | Miami passed on Andre Johnson

Tue, 07 Jul 2015 22:54:14 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson said he considered playing for his hometown Miami Dolphins when he was a free agent, but the team never called him. "I always had a dream of playing at home. I was a huge Dolphins fan. But they never called," Johnson said Tuesday, July 7.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson has averaged six receptions per game throughout his career, best in NFL history, and his 85 receiving yards per game is second-best in league history. He still has plenty left in the tank and he'll be a solid FantasyScore option paired with QB Andrew Luck.

Colts | Andre Johnson loving Andrew Luck

Sun, 31 May 2015 20:40:33 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson said he has regained his passion for the game because of the opportunity to play with QB Andrew Luck, and he called Luck "smart as hell."

Fantasy Tip: Johnson was able to manage useful totals the last few years in Houston despite below average quarterback play. Now that Luck will be throwing him the ball, Johnson should be a solid WR2 in 2015.

Colts | Andre Johnson to have big role for Colts?

Sat, 23 May 2015 12:15:47 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson will play a significant part in the Colts' offense this season, according to ESPN.com's Mike Wells.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson will be the unquestioned No. 2 receiver behind T.Y. Hilton and should plenty of opportunities to rebound from a disappointing 2014 campaign with the Houston Texans. If he can stay on the field, he's a viable WR2 candidate, especially with Andrew Luck now throwing to him.

Colts | Andre Johnson comfortable in offense

Thu, 21 May 2015 05:52:02 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson has made a "pretty seamless" transition to the offense, and he has a strong grasp of the playbook, according to head coach Chuck Pagano. Johnson took snaps with the starters during organized team activities Wednesday, May 20.

Fantasy Tip: While Johnson is joining a crowded receiving corps, he still projects to have a significant role in the offense. Entering his 13th season, Johnson's production is on the decline, but catching passes from Andrew Luck won't hurt his stat line. At best, Johnson is a low-end No. 2 wide receiver in all formats. Still, there are no guarantees he is a starting fixture all season, and the touchdown totals haven't been helpful -- 12 scores over the past three seasons. All said, Johnson looks a lot better as your third receiver than your second, and he likely isn't worth reaching for entering his age-34 season.

Texans | DeAndre Hopkins one of the best?

Sat, 09 May 2015 18:56:05 -0700

Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins was called on the best receivers in the league by head coach Bill O'Brien, and the Texans were willing to part ways with WR Andre Johnson in part because the coaching staff believes Hopkins is ready to be the No. 1 option in the passing game.

Fantasy Tip: Hopkins had a career year in 2014 despite a revolving door at the quarterback position, and as the unquestioned top target in 2015, he should at least be a solid WR2.

Colts | Andre Johnson joining teammates

Fri, 17 Apr 2015 21:17:10 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson said he plans on participating in an offseason program that begins Monday, April 20. "I'm excited about it," Johnson said. "I'll actually be heading to Indy tomorrow. I'm excited about the opportunity. Can't wait to get it going. It'll be different, but at the same time, still football. I'll go in, just learn what I need to learn, learn my new teammates and try to fit in and help win games."

Fantasy Tip: Johnson finds himself in a more pass-friendly offense with a much better quarterback throwing him the ball this season, and if he stays healthy, he should be a solid WR2.

Tue, 31 Mar 2015 11:17:59 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson still has what it takes to be a successful wide receiver in the NFL, according to head coach Chuck Pagano. "He's a big body guy that can still separate," Pagano said. "He's got a big catch radius… It's very difficult to match up [against him]."

Fantasy Tip: T.Y. Hilton will still be the wide receiver to really target in 2015 fantasy drafts, but Johnson should still be able to provide low-end WR2 numbers and possibly better in point-per-reception leagues. The key for Johnson will be staying healthy.

Colts | Pagano not worried about Andre Johnson

Tue, 24 Mar 2015 14:27:18 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson has a backer in head coach Chuck Pagano, and Pagano is not concerned with Johnson's age. "Watched him on tape, everybody watched him on tape when we knew there was maybe a chance he'd come available. Saw a dominant guy, we know what he went through last season, the circumstances he went through, but he's a force to be reckoned with. You need to do everything you can to make sure he doesn't wreck the game," Pagano said.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson could easily surprise in PPR formats in 2015 now that he finally has a legitimate quarterback throwing him passes. Other owners may be skeptical of Johnson at his age, meaning he could come at a nice discount and serve as a solid No. 2 wideout.

Colts | Andre Johnson in good situation

Mon, 16 Mar 2015 06:39:46 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR Andre Johnson will catch 90 passes in 2015, in the opinion of SI.com's Peter King.

Fantasy Tip: A 90-1,000-6 season would make him a WR2, at best, and he likely won't cost that on draft day. Johnson appears set for a promising 2015 campaign in an offense that has one of the best young QBs in the game at the helm.
