Head coach Mike Tomlin said Monday, Aug. 29, that a final determination on the new backup will not be made until after the final preseason game. Tomlin gave QB Ben Roethlisberger a day off practice Monday, Aug. 29, and split the repetitions between Batch and QB Dennis Dixon.
